Two New Sir Knights Conferred KOS

At a ceremonial evening held by No 24 Whitworth Encampment on Thursday 3 April 2025, Knights Fred Collier and David Pearson were installed with higher honours as Knights of the Shield (KOS).  The ceremony was conducted by the Grand Knight Commander, AKC Ian Glasper OM assisted by SKC Neville Dart IPGKC and AKC Ray Quickmire OM with encampment officers AKCs Lamb and Cooper.    The Grand Scribe AKC Clive Warham was also in attendance to observe this important milestone ceremony for the two recipients.

There was an excellent turn-out from comrades from Nos. 24, 65 and 147 encampments and as usual musical harmony was given by AKC Dave Sams OM accompanied by Comp. Jimmy Robinson.  All in all a thoroughly enjoyable evening in true KGH tradition.

Sir Knight Collier thanked those in attendance and Sir Knight Pearson went on to ensure all were adequately victualled and sated.
