It is almost a year ago that AKC Clive Warham OM declared his intention to step down as Grand Scribe and at the 136th meeting of the Grand Camp on 11th April 2026 which was chaired by his Brother John as Grand Knight Commander of the Order (2025-26), Clive handed over the minute book and scribes quill after 11 years in the job.
Clive started his journey as a member of the GUOKGH at No 5 Colonel Cameron Encampment , then meeting in Greatham, Hartlepool when he was initiated as a Companion of the Order on 22nd October 2003. He was the founder of 147 Erimus Encampment in Middlesbrough on 28th May 2008 to which he transferred in 2009 and to which Clive continues as Encampment Scribe to this day. Clive is also the District Scribe for Teesside. He was appointed Deputy Grand Scribe on 10th April 2010 and raised to Grand Scribe on 11th April 2015, exactly 11 years to the day that he relinquished the role.
Clive is still a member of No 5 Encampment which is co-located with 147 Erimus at the Wellington Inn, Wolviston near Billingham just a stone's throw from where he started out all those years ago!
